Privacy Policy

This is a plain-English draft that has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. It explains what personal information MyParkOnsite collects, why, and what your choices are. MyParkOnsite is operated by ARRDesign Creative Inc. (“we”, “us”), a business based in Vancouver, British Columbia. We aim to follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

Two kinds of people we hear from

• People who visit this website or ask for a quote. For example, a strata council member or property manager filling in the form.
• Residents, guests and staff of a building that uses MyParkOnsite. Their information is entered into the service by the building, its staff or its residents.

What we collect

When you use the quote form: your name, email, optional phone number, role, and details about your building (type, number of units and visitor stalls, how visitor parking is managed today, and any notes you add).

When a building uses MyParkOnsite: resident names and email addresses, unit numbers, guests' vehicle licence plates, visit start and end times, and a history of changes made in the system. Staff accounts also include a name and email.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.

Why we use it

• To reply to quote requests and set up a building.
• To run the visitor parking service: showing which stalls are in use, whose guest is whose, when a visit ends, sending reminders, tracking monthly visitor hours and producing reports for the building.
• To keep the service secure, fix problems and prevent abuse (for example, spam on the contact form).

We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for advertising.

Who is responsible for resident information

For information about residents, guests and staff, the building (its strata corporation, owner or property manager) decides what is collected and why. We handle that information on the building's behalf to provide the service. Each building's data is kept separate, and only that building's authorized staff can see it. If you are a resident and have questions about your information, please start with your building's management; you can also contact us.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to run the website and service: Vercel (website hosting), Neon (database) and Resend (email delivery). Information is stored and processed in the United States. These providers may only use the information to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests for up to 2 years. We keep a building's resident and visit information while the building uses the service, and delete it within 90 days after the building stops using it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to what the law allows or requires us to keep). For resident information, we may need to pass your request to your building. You can withdraw consent to us contacting you at any time.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including keeping each building's data separate and limiting access to authorized staff. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
